Mr. Bugs Tan, fondly known as Uncle Bugs, is a high profile inventor in Malaysia, with 11 national innovation awards to his name. In 2007, the Prime Minister presented him with the National Innovation Award. And then in 2009, he was conferred the International Excellent Award for Innovation by the Indira Group of Institutes in Mumbai, India.
